Architecturally designed kitchen with wooden floor and warm yellow lighting.

plywood project – a celebration of timber

This project is slightly different from our residential work. A builder approached us to design a fit-out for their own shop-front building located in Canterbury. The builder, with whom we have successfully worked in the past, wanted a space to work from, display their work, and meet clients in.

A celebration of plywood

What began as a fit-out quickly developed into a true celebration of plywood — a material we love. We ended up designing the meeting table and all built-in furniture: bookcases, stairs, etc. The selected timbers give the commercial project an intimate, cosy and personal feel.
