A renovation and extension to the rear of a heritage Victorian terrace in Carlton North, Melbourne. This project is for a young family returning back to Melbourne with 2 young children.

A generous splatter of colour was injected throughout this project creating a playful, uplifting environment. 

Architect-designed modern home featuring a large glass door.

Behind the historic terrace the two storey extension utilizes the full width of the site doubling the house footprint. With stringent heritage controls the entire new works can not be seen from the street front. A bicycle friendly new entry to the dwelling has been created off a generous rear laneway.
